Samuli Pöllänen Samuli Pöllänen is a 27-year old interior architect and designer from Helsinki. Samuli studies at the University of Art and Design Helsinki (UIAH) in the Department of Interior Architecture and Furniture Design. He graduated in the fall of 2006 as Bachelor of Art and continues his studies in the MA programme of Furniture Design. Pöllänen has his own company since 2004 where he practices design work parallel with his studies. Samuli Pöllänen has participated in a number of furniture events and exhibitions in Copenhagen, Milan and Helsinki. In his leisure time he plays tennis, badminton and floorball. In furniture design less is more in my opinion.
